What it is
The Book of Life is a well-being and life-design programme inspired by Stanford's Designing Your Life approach and the science of human flourishing. Students create their own personal 'Book of Life' — a reflective and creative roadmap exploring identity, resilience, relationships, purpose, happiness and the future they want to build.
Learning objectives
  • Understand themselves — values, strengths, and what they want their life to mean.
  • Recognise that the future is designed, not just inherited.
  • Apply life-design prototypes to navigate uncertainty and make intentional choices.
  • Explain the science of flourishing and how it applies to their own choices.

  • Maps directly to career-orientation outcomes (SCRIPT Q11)
  • Bridges secondary education and early adult life choices
  • Designed for SePAS, SPOS and orientation services to co-deliver
