Evidence & framework

Storytelling is a protective factor.

In the GFS framework, agency and meaning are two of the strongest predictors of long-term flourishing. Youth Speak builds both — by giving teenagers a story to tell, and a room to tell it to.

  • Confidence and self-efficacy measured pre/post
  • Communication and creativity tracked against 21st-century skills framework
  • Builds belonging through public performance and peer support
